Veterans 4 USA is 100% Volunteer driven. Whether you are good at the computer, accounting, taking minutes, finding donations, networking, applying for grants, walking a parade, working a vendor booth, or helping at events - WE NEED You!
Promoters
By keeping us in mind and recommending us - you are already volunteering! Tell your friends about us. If someone you know, or online is selling an object - ask them if they’d be willing to donate it if it doesn’t sell. Do you know a couponer? Couponers are some of the biggest doners of hygienic products! If you have friends who are spring cleaning, or like to find deals at garage sales - let them know we are always looking for items that make a house a home.
Most valuable is speaking to your bosses, or friends who own businesses to tell them about the great incentives we give to our annual sponsors. Your word of mouth does a LOT for Homeless Veterans in Central Michigan.
Movers
Be there for the exact moment a homeless Veteran ceases to be homeless. We always need able bodied people willing to move boxes, and furniture into the Homeless Veterans new apartment.
Deskworkers
We are actively seeking people good at organizing calls and pick up drop off dates, accounting, taking minutes, applying for grants, and other computer related work.
Event Workers
Veterans 4 USA hosts multiple events each year, and we are always in need of people willing to show up and help out for setup, running, and break down of these special events.
